• Person in charge for calculation processes of numerical structure analysis



• Further development of the processes and methods



• Coordination of dimensioning with the shipping company and classification society



• Statistical and dynamical FEM-calculations for the dimensioning of the ship structure



• Assessment of 3D-calculation results for the dimensioning and optimization of the steel structure



• Analytical and standardized calculation methods, e.g. pertaining to specifications



• Coordination of proceeding, construction and results with internal and external development partners



• Documentation of results for the classification of the steel structure
  
  

• Degree in Naval Architecture



• Yard experience or work experience with respective operations pertaining to shipbuilding



• Experienced with numerical calculation methods, preferably ANSYS



• Business-fluent English is required orally and in writing



• Ability to solve problems with an analytical approach



• Profound communication skills and team spirit



• Intense commitment to the job



• Autonomous and responsible way of working
