Currently for our client, a world leader in transport infrastructure, power generation and electrical grid, we are looking for:
Head of Piping Design Group
Among daily duties candidate will be providing technical coordination and functional leadership of arrangement and piping. Candidate in this role will also manage a team along with performing engineering works for different projects. Candidate will plan, forecast and drive for engineering outputs (3D models, documentation and production orders).
Candidate on this position should be an experienced professional within the industrial steam turbine activity, with decent leadership skills, ability to share expertise and develop others in a global engineering set - up. Position requires minimum 6 years of experience in the arrangement & piping planning for turbomachinery generator sets.
Candidate is required to have knowledge of power generation in general, steam turbine design and operation, instrumentation, risk analysis and international codes and standards. Candidate is expected to be familiar with IT solutions in the field of work such as PDMS, CAD, MS Office.
Site experience and / or practical qualifications (e.g. welder certificate) would be advantageous. Strong English language skills are a prerequisite for the position.
Polish language is a must.
