Opis stanowiska

Due to an expanding portfolio of projects Capita Infrastructure have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Technician to join the existing team and work on infrastructure projects in highway, rail and tunnelling sectors within the UK and internationally.
The successful candidate would need to be professionally qualified and have experience in the design of highways, rail structures but also be prepared to work across a broad breadth of infrastructure disciplines.

Wymagania

Experience of 3D modelling to meet Crossrail /HS2 CAD standards
Experienced in the detailed draughting of all aspects and elements of civil engineering structures (bridges, retaining walls, and/or cut tunnels etc)
RC detailing using Bentley Rebar
Understanding of system configuration of both MicroStation & AutoCAD.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to one of the Structural Engineering Team Leaders the candidate will have responsibility for 3D modelling, production of the design drawings and will work closely with our team of Structural, Highway & Rail Engineers in preparing design solutions using primarily MicroStation, AECOsim & Bentley Rebar.

Good team player within a multi-disciplinary environment, but able to work on own initiative and under pressure when necessary.
Good communicator at all levels, both verbally and in writing
Accuracy and attention to detail
Willing to learn and develop
Proficient in discussing technical issues in non-technical language
be proactive in the mentoring and training of trainee technicians
