Opis stanowiska

Working as part of a team in providing professional engineering BIM/CAD services to external and internal clients.
Undertake engineering services BIM/CAD work on behalf of Capita under the direction of the line manager or project leader.
To undertake production of model/drawings and any other related duties required to comply with the project brief.
To undertake an appropriate level of resource management responsibility and control by:
• Ensuring an understanding of project programme in relation to BIM/CAD model/drawing production
• Working to time allocations
• Ensuring support services are made available as and when required
• Co-operating with other members of the team
• Reviewing progress plus reporting any anomalies and scope of duty revisions to the line manager
• Updating forward plan of workload regularly
To undertake an appropriate level of technical/quality management responsibility and control by:
• Using up to date software to deliver
• Regularly reviewing and implementing BIM/CAD standards
• Ensuring all work is completed within the company BIM/CAD procedures
• Ensuring that work is checked before issuing to the project engineer
• Contributing to the development of working practices to improve team efficiency particularly with reference to the use of BIM/CAD and other associated programmes.
To undertake an appropriate level of financial management responsibility and control by:
• Ensuring projects are kept within time/cost limits as stated at briefing meetings
• Completing time/expense sheets as required
To undertake an appropriate level of Management:
• Be able to attend and chair BIM meetings.
• Implement external BEP with CAD/BIM team
• Produce resource plans / planning.
To comply with company and local office procedures as stated in Employee Manual and Induction Pack.

Wymagania

5 years’ experience with AutoCAD 2D with a very good understanding of :
• Layers
• Xref’s
• Blocks
• Attributes
3 years’ experience with Revit or 3-5 years of 3D AutoCAD which may include AutoCAD MEP / AutoCAD Fabrication (aka CADDuct) / MagiCAD or similar. In relation to Revit platform needs to demonstrate the following:
• Setting up a model for the first time
• Linking external models, IFC / RVT / DWG
• Workshare models
• Copy / monitor elements from linked models
• Family creation including Type and Instance parameters
• Shared co-ordinate system
• Projects and Shared parameters
• Sheet and views, managing the Project Browser.

2-3 years’ experience of Navisworks Freedom, Manage and Simulate. Demonstrate the following:
• Know the difference between the 3 packages and explain where each would be used.
• Clash detection, export and importing files from packages such as Revit, AutoCAD and IFC
STANDARDS
• Have a very good understanding of BS1192 and PAS 1192
• COBie
• Project and BIM Execution plans.
